Step 3

Your tax package will then be in quarantine for 48 hours

Step 4

Our tax preparers will call you to fill out info or ask questions

Step 5

Your taxes will be e-filed after you return to the office to sign your forms

After much deliberation and effort, we have decided to resume tax filing services here at the Sudbury Community Service Centre. The process will be a little different, but the service will still be free of charge and will follow established social distancing and safety rules.

We are asking that you drop off your tax package to our office between 9AM and 5PM, Monday to Friday, in a SEALED envelope. Your name and phone number MUST be clearly written on the outside of the envelope. You can drop off the envelope through the mail slot on the front of the building located at 1166 Roy Avenue.

Once the package has been through quarantine (48 hours), one of our tax preparers will call you to fill out your taxes and answer any questions you may have about your tax return. You then must return to the office 48 hours after the phone appointment to sign the necessary papers and collect your tax package. Your taxes will then be efiled 48 hours after the signed papers are received by one of our volunteers.

Please be advised, your taxes will not be filed if you have not signed the proper forms and collected your tax package.
