Developmental Support Services Program

 

The Developmental Support Services Program was established to assist adults diagnosed with a developmental disability to live independently in the community.

The goal of the Program is to provide a service that will enable these adults to become full participating members in the life of the community. Services provided are determined by the program participant based upon his/her personal goals.

Service users are empowered to determine which services best meet their individual needs. Five key component of the program include Case Management, Advocacy, Emotional Support, Crisis Management and Lifeskills Training.

What does it cost?

Our program is free to anyone who could benefit but you must be referred to us by Developmental Services Ontario.

What are your business hours and office location?

We are located at 1166 Roy Ave, Sudbury, ON P3A 3M6 and our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Evening and weekend services may be available.

How long do we receive service?

You can receive services from our program for as long as you need them. The frequency of contact with you will depend upon your needs.

How do we apply for service?

You must contact Developmental Services Ontario for a referral to our program. Further information may be obtained by going to their website at www.DSOntario.ca or by calling 1-855-376-6673.
